sports and exercise nutrition

Sian Rilstone holding Berlin Marathon finishers' medalExercise performance is greatly enhanced by giving your body the right fuel. It doesn’t matter if you’re casually exercising or training for a professional event, sports nutrition is integral to performance.

I will ensure you optimise your hydration, energy and strength – unravelling the myths around electrolytes, protein, carbohydrate and supplements.

In a world where there are numerous people giving contradictory opinions, you can rely on a dietitian with an IOC sports nutrition qualification to give you accurate, up-to-date advice that is tailored to your needs. My practice is based on the latest research, ensuring that my advice is founded on science and clinical best practice, not on anecdote.

Nutrition plan

I will work with you to create a nutrition plan for your individual training needs. The plan will incorporate both food and hydration, and will aim to:

  • increase your energy levels
  • promote good health
  • help manage weight
  • improve concentration
  • develop body composition and growth
  • enhance recovery

I will analyse and support you with your long and short-term goals. Additionally, I will incorporate strategies to optimise your nutritional status, including bone health and iron status.
