weight management

Sian Rilstone eating cakeThe benefits of eating well should not be underestimated – the human body is a complex organism, requiring a huge array of different vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and macronutrients.

All foods have advantages and disadvantages, and the trick to eating well is to eat the right foods in the right proportions. This is much more difficult than a list of good and bad foods.

I will spend time finding out about your lifestyle and individual preferences, and work with you to provide a tailored, bespoke plan to set you up for success.

I understand that losing weight is hard, as food can be linked with our emotions, entertainment and stress-relief. I use cognitive behavioural techniques to help identify barriers to change and to help you weigh up the pros and cons of weight loss.

I will work with you to formulate a plan that will leave you satisfied. My practice is based on up-to-date research, ensuring that my advice is founded on science and clinical best practice. I have the added benefit of over 10 years of experience of helping people manage their weight, so I have picked up lots of extra practical tips on the way, building on the science and theories.
